Alcohol is a drug that is widely used and it may cause accidents, injuries, crimes, insanity. It is the cause of many road accidents which destroy the physical body and send the victim’s souls to hell.
According to medical scientists, one out of five alcoholics develop partial paralysis of certain muscles, hardening of the liver, severe inflammation of the lining of the body, stomach ulcer, gastric ulcer and so on.Alcoholic drinks lead to a great waste of life and money. If you die through consumption of alcohol, you will go to hell. Drinking alcohol reveals that you are under human nature not the Holy Spirit. You need Jesus Christ now before it is too late for you.
A few years ago, God sent me to warn a Christian who was selling alcoholic drinks to stop the business, but he refused. One day, while selling it at midnight, he was accidentally shot. But for the sake of alcohol which delayed him at the site of business, he would have been at home and avoided the accident which led to his death.
There was also a Christian who refused to stop drinking ogogoro (a drink containing 95-100% alcohol). One day he was crossing a road while drunk and he was killed by a speeding car. If he was not drunk, he would have been careful to cross the road safely. He would have avoided the accident.
Speaking of alcohol, the Bible says, “Wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise” (Proverbs 20 v 1). It is dangerous to health to abuse alcohol; you are not expected to even take alcoholic drinks. However, if you cannot do without alcoholic drinks, you need physical and spiritual help – the spiritual is prayer in the name of Jesus to cast out the demonic spirit who is making you to drink (Mark 16 v 17).
